About Josie
I'm a high school student in Auckland. I achieve great results academically at school, receiving constant excellences and ranking consistently top in my year level. I often help teach my two younger siblings if they don't understand a concept, so I have good experience in handling teaching situations. At school I take math at one year above, and I have passed exams for our diploma's equivalent of level 1 math with consistent excellences. I want to help people learn and understand using strategies that actually work and will help students improve academically. I am keen to start teaching and we can negotiate the specifics after getting in contact.

Mandarin
Lessons are best for young children, preferably 14 and under. They can range from half an hour a week to two hours, it is all negotiable and whatever works best for the student. I can teach concepts, ideas, and strategies, or I can go through what the student may be learning at school to deepen their understanding. We can negotiate on what learning styles work best as I know every child learns differently, and I can accommodate to suit whatever teaching style is needed. I can guarantee improvement within a month, as I have seen it happen through tutoring my younger brother.
