About Katie
My passion for English kicked off in the 6th grade where I enrolled in academic UIL. I competed in oratory, creative writing, and editorial writing contests where I won awards for my essays and speeches. My enjoyment for literature didn’t stop when I reached high school. I excelled in all my English courses and aced both my AP English and rhetoric exams. I continued writing for academic UIL, and even went on to compete at the state level for Literary Criticism. From these experiences, I have gained valuable knowledge and skills that I can’t wait to share with you!
