About RuBy
I am a first year student as the University of Nottingham studying for a bachelor's degree in History, although my love for all things German is still as strong as ever since leaving it behind after A level. Aside from History and German, I love all things music, nature and art. When I'm not studying, I'm usually listening to Hozier, going for a walk, or watching Top Gear.

Lessons will both introduce new concepts in preparation for the classroom as well as develop the student's understanding of what has already been introduced. I am also happy to cover anything specific suggested by the student in advance, for example exam preparation. Whilst textbook-based learning is undoubtedly essential to achieving a GCSE in German, I also recognise that this approach is not necessarily best for every student. Therefore I will also include elements of current German culture to make lessons applicable to daily life situations.
