About Isha
Hi! My name is Isha Jha and I am a rising senior. I go to boarding school in New England, but I am originally from Florida! I love debate, speech, and speaking about ethics (I'm cohead of ethics forum at my school :)). I aspire to be a psychiatrist, and I love talking to people. I promise you will have so much fun in my classes, and you will grow to great extents.

Depending on the starting level of confidence with your child, I alter my lessons. I was a public speaking/debate tutor last summer, and all the kids I tutored are now top 3 in their region for their respective types of speech events. I usually begin by giving my students an expository speech topic, and I give them 2-5 minutes of prep time, and then I have them give their speech standing up. I then give feedback, and we work on whatever form of speech (original oratory, declamation, etc), we are focusing on for the week. I end class with another extemporaneous speech with the same amount of prep time, and give them notes on how they improved for positive reinforcement and some things they can work on. These lessons are great for late elementary to early high school aged children!
