I have always been a bit of non-traditional student, and I have learned a lot about how to educate myself on subjects that interest me. I have been able to take what I’ve learned about learning and apply that to teaching others. My particular areas of interest and expertise include ancient history, history of languages, and cinema history.

In addition to my University studies, I am a self-taught learner who understands how to break concepts down into their most essential elements to make them more comprehensible. As that pertains to history, I prefer to take a bigger-picture approach, focusing on the historical context of a particular era and the major historical figures who shaped that era to create a strong base of understanding.
I can tailor lessons to a very specific level if you are seeking help with essay writing or test preparation.
