About Eleanor
I ama PhD Physics student at the University of Birmingham and I love maths and science! I want to make maths and science accessible to everyone- whether you stuggle academically or just want some extra help before exams. I have previous tutoring experience in GCSE maths, sciences, German, and English language and I am DBS checked. I have a Master's degree in Physics as well as A-levels in Maths, Further Maths, Physics, and Chemistry.

My aim when teaching is to develop the pupil's confidence and mathematical/scientific mindset in order to progress academically. I aim to put maths and science into context, to provide a bigger picture of why these subjects matter as well as helping prepare for exams and assessments. I provide a mixture of activities using the I do, We do, You do method of providing worked examples then building up to the pupil being able to do problems by themself.
Typical lessons are 45 minutes to an hour. I can teach all levels at secondary school and sixth form.
