About Felicity
I am a passionate and motivated tutor with a strong interest in education and helping students reach their full potential. I am currently studying teaching and work every day with students as a teacher aide, which has given me valuable hands-on experience supporting learners of different abilities and learning styles.
I have a genuine passion for helping students understand challenging topics and grow in confidence. I believe every student can succeed when they are supported in the right way, and I enjoy finding different methods to explain ideas until they make sense. Working closely with students has helped me develop patience, strong communication skills, and an understanding of how students learn best.
Alongside my studies, I have gained tutoring experience by supporting a child from my workplace, providing one-to-one help and adapting lessons to suit their needs. This experience has strengthened my desire to pursue teaching as a career.
I want to teach because I enjoy making a positive difference in students’ learning journeys. Seeing students improve, gain confidence, and feel proud of their progress is extremely rewarding, and it motivates me to continue developing my skills as an educator.

I take a student-centered and supportive approach to tutoring, adapting my teaching style to each student’s needs and pace. My aim is to build understanding and confidence, not just memorization.
For Biology and Chemistry, I break down complex topics into simple steps and use real-life examples, diagrams, and clear explanations to make concepts easier to understand. I regularly check understanding through questions and use practice problems and exam-style questions to reinforce learning. Each lesson includes recap, guided learning, and time for practice and questions.
Lessons usually last 1 to 1.5 hours, depending on the student’s focus and goals.
I have one year of tutoring experience, during which I tutored a child from my workplace on a regular basis. This experience helped me develop strong communication skills, patience, and the ability to explain topics clearly at an appropriate level.
My lessons are suitable for primary and secondary school students, particularly those studying Biology and Chemistry, who want help with understanding topics, homework support, or exam preparation.
