My Approach as a Ballet Tutor for Young Girls My teaching method combines discipline, creativity, and fun. I want each student to develop a strong technical foundation while enjoying the learning process and cultivating a love for dance. Teaching Method and Techniques Progressive Learning: I introduce movements gradually, starting with basic exercises and advancing according to each student's abilities. Games and Creativity: I use playful elements to keep students motivated and engaged, such as imitating animals to develop coordination or using storytelling to explore artistic expression. Technique and Musicality: I focus on posture, alignment, and body awareness from an early age, always incorporating music to improve rhythm and expression. Typical Lesson Plan Warm-up (5-10 min): Gentle exercises to prepare the body, improve flexibility, and strengthen muscles. Barre or Center Exercises (15-20 min): Basic movements like pliés, tendus, and relevés, adapted for young children. Movement Across the Floor (10-15 min): Simple combinations, small jumps, and traveling steps to improve coordination and musicality. Creative Exercise (10 min): Improvisation or a short choreography inspired by a story or music. Cool-down and Goodbye (5 min): Gentle stretches and a reflection on what was learned. What Makes Me Stand Out as a Teacher Patience and Empathy: I understand that each child learns at their own pace, so I adapt my methods to their needs. Positive and Encouraging Atmosphere: I foster self-confidence and joy in dancing, avoiding excessive pressure. Focus on Proper Technique from the Start: While the classes are fun, I always emphasize correct alignment and posture. My classes are designed for young girls who want to start ballet, typically between the ages of 3 and 7. Whether it’s their first dance experience or not, the most important thing is that they feel comfortable and enjoy learning.
