About Andrew
My name is Andrew vokes, and the reason I want to teach is that I can encourage future students that anyone can get to where they want to be when putting in the hard work, and no matter how tough personal life can be everyone deserves someone who believes in their worth.
I was moved in and out of foster care for a quite a big part of my life and it affected everything that concerned me from education to mental health, and so I often refused to experience new things and learn because I had no belief. I was one of the lucky ones that managed to gain the faith and pursue higher education and I’m studying a subject I am passionate about, and I hope to encourage and be that voice for those who lack belief.

I would explore all approaches to learning, including ways that they currently know and new ways, work with the tutee to get a clear picture on how they learn, then work out a plan together moving forward on how to better their academic performance and increase their grades.
