About Vincent
I have a BA degree (cum laude) 1987 under a full scholarship all semesters. I obtained Provisional Certification K-12, and worked regularly (weekly) as a substitute teacher from my graduation year 1987. I also received a Master's in Education in 2008, Obtained Permanent Certification K-12. Appointed music teacher/director and church organist at a church school. I worked full time 15 yrs. I have never had a complaint from my students or their parents. But usually they that commented were more than satisfied, with my imparting necessary music knowledge for the growth and enjoyment of music making in this modern world.

I am very patient in teaching. But am not using teaching as a financial foundation for my life. I like to impart musical knowledge that I have been fortunate to have been given. Music curriculum that I promote is also influenced by the actual desires of the students. My philosophy of teaching is not rigid. Also, the demands I have to make, concerning learning, (that leads to success) are not unusual. Basic fundamental, and also contemporary/modern techniques I do not withhold. Such as new ways to develop quickly. And other experimental modern music approaches to realizing melody, harmony, and rhythm. A major aspect of music making, which I most highly recommend to my students, is listening analysis. As far as vocal pedagogy, vocalizations, sight singing, breathing techniques are emphasized.
