About Noni
Why I Want to Teach:
I’ve always enjoyed helping others understand things that can sometimes feel tricky or overwhelming. I remember how challenging it was at times during my own studies, and I want to make learning easier and more enjoyable for my students. Teaching gives me the chance to share the study strategies and insights that helped me succeed, while helping students build their confidence and reach their full potential. I find it rewarding to see my students grow, not just in their grades, but in their understanding and love for learning.

My Approach to Tutoring:
I focus on making learning engaging and tailored to each student’s needs. I use a combination of active learning, problem-solving, and real-life examples to ensure students understand concepts deeply, rather than just memorizing them. I prioritize building confidence through positive reinforcement and provide regular feedback to track progress.
Techniques and Methodology:
Personalized Learning: Tailoring lessons to the student's strengths and weaknesses.
Interactive Practice: Using hands-on exercises, practice questions, and real-world examples.
Exam Prep: Teaching time management and exam techniques, especially for senior students (Year 10-12).
Lesson Length: Typically 2 hours per session, with the option of 2.5 hours for more intensive study.
Qualifications/Experience: HSC Graduate: Top results in English, Maths, and Biology.
Tutoring Experience: Over a year of experience tutoring peers and younger students, focusing on key subjects and exam prep.
