About Ruby
I am an undergraduate Economics student with a particular interest in maths applied to everyday situations, especially in Econometrics. Explaining maths concepts to my friends in class revealed my love for teaching others and hence led me to want to become a tutor.

I believe a deep understanding of each topic is crucial before moving onto practice questions as this reduces the chance of repeating mistakes, as well as making maths a lot more fun - each student will understand why each answer is correct rather than just how to get there. Consequently, students will be well equipped with the skills needed to tackle those hard questions in exams that don’t fit the structure of usual practice questions, whether SAT, GCSE or A-level questions.
