About Mharvey
Hi, I am Miranda!
Currently studying at the University of Edinburgh having just gone through the primary and secondary education system I understand the pressure of performing well academically. At A-Level I achieved consistent A* from my mocks to the final exam achieving 40/40 in my History Coursework and 58/60 for English. I understand the 'jumping through hoops' aspect of examination and aim to create a professional yet friendly studying environment for my tutees.

LESSON DELIVERY
- Lessons delivered online using Microsoft Teams in order to share projections to create interactive lessons.
- Structured sequential tasks with measurable outcomes.
- Exam practice techniques specifically approaching essay writing and developing the vocabulary and terminology necessary to move up grade boundaries.
- Focus on assessment objectives to help the pupil clearly distinguish between an A* and C grade essay.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Equipped to teach 11+ Exams, Common Entrance, GCSE's and A Level.
- Previous tutoring experience for English GCSE.
- Typical length of lessons range 45 - 60 minutes.
