About Wilf
I have studied French from the age of 7 and have always taken a keen interest in it. I achieved a 9 at GCSE in French as well as 10 others in my other subjects. At A Level, I have been able to delve deeper into French both in and out of school in preparation for university and I am predicted an A* for the upcoming A Level results. My love for French comes from having being taught it in a fun and an engaging manner and I try to replicate this in my own lessons.

Firstly, I would like to find out the student's goals and their strengths and weaknesses so that I can address the areas that most need help.
Lesson structure:
- Explain new area to student in steps and make sure student understands each step before we proceed.
- Then we will go through some questions together to build up understanding on this new area.
- Then I will set the student a few questions to do by himself and we will go through these together after.
- This simple structure is a method I have used before at school to mentor students preparing for GCSE French.
