About Gladys
I'm Malaysian and speak 6 languages, Mandarin, English, Malay, Cantonese, Korean and Hokkien (Chinese Dialect) and a bit of Thai as I'm a quarter Thai.
I hope that through my multicultural background, I can provide not only language support but also provide culture exchange opportunities.
Additionally, I graduated from UOW, currently studying at UYSD for a Master's in Finance. We can talk topics about what happening around the world, giving beyond language but professional interaction that is connected to the real world.

My teaching methodology combines communicative language teaching with task-based learning. I focus on creating immersive experiences that encourage the practical use of Mandarin in real-life contexts. Lessons typically involve a mix of interactive activities, such as role-playing, conversational practice, and multimedia resources. I also incorporate elements of cultural education to deepen students' understanding of the language and its usage in different contexts.
Lessons are generally 60 minutes long, but I can offer flexibility based on students' preferences and schedules. For more intensive learning or specific needs, I also offer 90-minute sessions.
My lessons are designed for learners of all ages and proficiency levels, from beginners to advanced students. Whether you’re a child, a teenager, or an adult, I tailor the content and approach to suit your level and learning style. I also offer specialized courses for professionals looking to use Mandarin in their careers or for students preparing for language exams.
