About Maria
I am extremely enthusiastic in what I do, my love for history has always had no boundaries. I've become even more enamoured with the subject after GCSEs and A-levels, studying thoroughly Nazi Germany, Fascist Italy and Soviet Russia. I am so passionate about the subject that I am excited to continue my journey with it at UCL. I've shown my interest and competency further when I pursued economics, a subject that I find vital in the current affairs and world. I would be able to teach the student basic Micro and Macro economics to help them plunge into the pool of finance later on.

It's important to solidify the content previously learnt in lessons, asking questions and providing detailed notes (made by myself) for the students. I believe that adapting to different students is the key, integrating my way of learning with their preference for teaching. Simplicity is often key in order to get the most success and achievement. I have previously tutored at my school, however never as an official tutor and through a platform like this. The usual lesson time would be 1hr/1.5hrs depending on the content covered. I am able to adapt my teaching for different age groups, teaching mostly senior school children.
