About Sophie
I am a classically trained soprano currently studying at Guildhall School of Music & Drama, with experience in both performance and vocal teaching. Alongside vocal training, I have also been trained in movement and drama for the past four years, which has given me a very holistic and performance-based approach to teaching. I focus not only on healthy vocal technique, but also confidence, communication, physical awareness and storytelling through performance. I teach a wide range of ages and abilities and always adapt lessons to the individual student. My aim is to create a supportive, encouraging environment where students feel comfortable exploring their voice and developing at their own pace. Alongside freelance teaching, I continue to observe leading vocal professionals and expand my own technical and pedagogical understanding through ongoing training and performance experience.

I teach in a supportive, student-centred way, focusing on healthy vocal technique, confidence and communication through performance. Lessons are typically 45–60 minutes. I have conservatoire-level training, freelance teaching experience and work with all ages and abilities, from beginners to advanced singers.
