About Jannatul
I can successfully teach middle school and beginning high school Math because I have had confidence and a strong understanding of the subject since I was in grade 3. I have always had A+ or A grades in all math courses I took in my entire school life. Examples: AP Calc AB Score-5, Honors Precalculus Grade- A, Honors Math 3 in sophomore year of HS Grade- A. Besides, I have a good foundation in most of the STEM subjects. Examples: AP Chem Score- 5, AP CSP Score-5, AP Physics C both parts score 4. My native language is Bangla but I am also fluent in English. I studied in the British curriculum during elementary school and I was in England during middle school. I have been in the United States since 10th Grade. For more knowledge of my language arts skills, here are my grades: Honors American Literature (A-), Honors Film and Society (A-). Overall high school final GPA: 4.02 It's true that I don't have specific teaching certificates and strong experience in tutoring but I am confident in teaching what I know.

My lessons will be for middle and beginner high schoolers needing help or foundation in STEM. Experience: I have a little bit of previous experience in tutoring or teaching; I taught Geometry and am a certified Math tutor at Helm Learning online platform, where I taught students from around the world. Besides, I was the tutor and project leader of my own project called, "Programming Using Mobile Phones (PUMP)" where I taught girl minorities in Bangladesh about programming in JavaScript. I usually teach or give main lectures using Google Slides or Canva presentations. Besides, for interactive practices and more engagement with material, I use other websites or games for fun. For example- videos of physics in sports or games, simulation of chemistry games, etc. There will be a little amount of homework given each week for practice and quizzes or tests every 2 or 3 weeks. I will go through the answers of quizzes and tests after evaluation. As a tutor, I try to be friends with the students, understanding or checking up with them from time to time to see what they are stuck on. I guide them step by step in response to how they want to learn it.
