About Pearl
Since I was a student I have really enjoyed meeting new people and new cultures and this is why I have always tried to connect my studies with my other passion, travelling : my academic career includes research stays at Princeton, Yale, the European Institute of Food History and Culture...
I love teaching online classes because they allowed me to meet students all around the world and share my love for the french lenguaje and the french culture with many differents personalities.
Over the years I have learned many things thanks to my students (I have discovered cooking recipes, music, books, movies...).

I have always been in love with the French language and I really enjoy teaching my language to people of all ages and levels.
I enjoy meeting new students and turning their needs into a new challenge. Now that I am a university professor, I miss that variety in my classes a little and that is why I want to continue giving some private lessons.
Although most of them ask to work on writing, spelling, grammar... I am a specialist in literature and culture (food ans pastry to be more exact) and I always try to bring this beautiful part of the French universe closer to my classes through conversations and listening.
