About Ivy
I am a dedicated piano tutor with 14 years of experience helping students from school, college, and working professional backgrounds reach their musical goals. I believe piano learning should be simple, structured, and enjoyable. My teaching approach focuses on understanding each student’s strengths, weaknesses, and aspirations.
I provide personalized lessons that develop strong finger technique, rhythm, hand coordination, and sight-reading skills while gradually introducing advanced techniques. In addition to piano, I teach music theory, ear training, and rhythm exercises to ensure students gain a complete understanding of music.
I use song-based learning, creative exercises, and performance practice to make lessons interesting and engaging. I specialize in breaking down complex concepts into simple, understandable steps and helping students stay motivated.
I aim to create a positive, supportive, and encouraging environment where students build confidence, discipline, and a lifelong love for music.

Flexibility ensures lessons are adapted to the student’s pace, skill level, and learning preferences, fostering a productive and enjoyable environment.
Alongside piano, I teach music theory, sight-reading, rhythm exercises, and ear training. This comprehensive methodology develops technical skills, expressive ability, and musical understanding. My aim is to guide students to become confident, creative, and lifelong musicians.
