About Joseph
I am a PGCE Primary trainee teacher with experience across KS1 and KS2, including working in a mixed Year 2/3 class and a Year 6 class. I want to teach because I enjoy helping children feel more confident, capable and positive about learning. I am calm, patient and supportive, and I like breaking tricky ideas down into clear steps.

My lessons are relaxed, supportive and confidence-focused. I use clear modelling, worked examples, sentence starters, scaffolding, questioning and step-by-step practice to help children understand. I adapt my approach depending on the child, whether they need support with reading, writing, phonics, maths, homework, or general primary learning.
