About Freya

I am a Chemistry tutor with over two years of teaching experience and an MSc in Theoretical and Computational Chemistry. My passion lies in the forensic applications of this subject. Students are guided through the essentials of drug analysis, toxicology, and crime scene science. Lessons are interactive, often built around simulated case files that mimic real investigations. I introduce the principles of analytical instruments, showing how each technique uncovers hidden evidence. From chromatography to spectroscopy, learners see both the theory and its application. Ethical considerations are always emphasized, because forensic chemistry demands responsibility and integrity. I believe in connecting classroom learning to real-world forensic practice. My sessions combine interdisciplinary insights from law, biology, and physics. Students with goals in forensic science and law enforcement find a clear path through my guidance. I use discussions, demonstrations, and case-based tasks to spark engagement. Each lesson builds both confidence and skill. Chemistry, in my classroom, is more than formulas—it is a powerful tool for uncovering truth. My mission is to help students use science to solve mysteries and support justice.

Chemistry is best learned when concepts are presented in a clear and structured way. I focus on organic chemistry topics such as naming compounds, identifying functional groups, and analyzing reaction mechanisms. Students also study isomerism and how small changes affect molecular behavior. Each lesson is broken into simple steps that connect theory to practice. I provide real-world examples to make the subject relevant, from environmental chemistry to marine biology. Students see how carbon compounds play vital roles in both ecosystems and human activity. For learners aiming to become environmentalists or marine biologists, organic chemistry becomes a foundation for future research. I give regular feedback so progress is visible and confidence grows. We also practice synthesis pathways to strengthen problem-solving. Lessons are interactive, using diagrams, models, and discussions. My goal is to make complex topics approachable. With patience and structure, organic chemistry becomes less intimidating. Every student is supported in building strong knowledge for academic success.
