About Freya
I am a Chemistry tutor with over two years of teaching experience and an MSc in Theoretical and Computational Chemistry. My passion lies in the forensic applications of this subject. Students are guided through the essentials of drug analysis, toxicology, and crime scene science. Lessons are interactive, often built around simulated case files that mimic real investigations. I introduce the principles of analytical instruments, showing how each technique uncovers hidden evidence. From chromatography to spectroscopy, learners see both the theory and its application. Ethical considerations are always emphasized, because forensic chemistry demands responsibility and integrity. I believe in connecting classroom learning to real-world forensic practice.
