About Taryn

My journey with the English language began over 9 years ago, when I realised how powerful communication can be in connecting people across different cultures. As I continued to explore the language, I discovered a strong desire to help others gain the same confidence and opportunity that English has given me. Teaching became a meaningful way for me to inspire learners, share knowledge, and support students in unlocking new possibilities in life and education. I teach with patience, empathy, and a personalised approach. I focus on understanding each learner’s strengths, challenges, and personality so I can tailor lessons that feel encouraging, relatable, and enjoyable. I believe every student is unique, so I adapt my teaching methods to make learning easier and more effective for them. Building confidence is a key part of my style, and I celebrate progress—whether small improvements or major breakthroughs—because every step forward matters. Outside teaching, I stay connected to the language by reading books, exploring different writing styles, and studying new teaching techniques to bring fresh ideas into my lessons. I enjoy creative writing, public speaking practice, and learning about cultures from English-speaking countries, as it enriches my teaching. For me, teaching English is not only a job—it is a passion that allows me to empower others, boost confidence, and make a positive difference through communication.

About the lesson

My English lessons are designed to help learners feel confident, motivated, and comfortable using the language in real-life situations. I believe English should be learnt through meaningful communication, relevant topics, and enjoyable activities that make each lesson feel inspiring and useful. From the very first session, I create a relaxed environment where students know they are supported, encouraged, and guided with patience. I teach students of all levels—beginner, intermediate, and advanced—adapting the learning path to their needs. Beginners start by building essential vocabulary, clear pronunciation, simple grammar, and everyday conversation skills that allow them to express themselves early on. Intermediate students work on fluency, writing, listening comprehension, grammar accuracy, and expressing ideas clearly and naturally. Advanced learners refine presentation skills, debates, creative writing, idioms, accent clarity, and real-world communication for study, travel, or professional settings. I combine speaking, listening, reading, and writing so students develop balanced skills and see consistent progress. My goal is to help learners not only speak English confidently, but to genuinely enjoy using it. I want students to develop independence, cultural awareness, and the belief that they can express themselves clearly. Most importantly, I aim for every student to leave lessons feeling proud, motivated, and excited to keep learning.
