About Amelia
As I have recently completed my GCSEs, I have a strong understanding of the current curriculum and the challenges students face during exam preparation.
I have worked at a Grade 9 standard in English from Year 8 to Year 11, building my skills and confidence throughout my later primary and early secondary years. Through this experience, I understand the dedication required to achieve strong academic results and can support students in developing effective study habits, confidence, and subject knowledge.
Having recently been through the GCSE process myself, I can offer relevant advice on revision techniques, exam preparation, and managing academic pressure while making lessons engaging and approachable.

My lessons are tailored to each student’s needs, whether they are looking to improve their confidence, strengthen their understanding, or prepare for exams.
I can help with reading, comprehension, creative writing, essay structure, language analysis, literature revision, and exam technique. I aim to make lessons engaging and supportive, where students can develop both skill and confidence in their ability.
I work with students from Year 3 up to Year 10 and adapt my teaching style to suit different ages and learning preferences. Lessons will be patient, encouraging, and focused on helping each individual student progress at their pace. I strive to create a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable in approaching their next challenge with English.
