About Freya
My journey with piano began when I first experienced the emotional depth that music can create through melody and harmony. This inspiration led me to complete a Master's Degree in Piano Performance, where I studied technique, musical interpretation, and classical repertoire. During my 9 years of teaching, I have helped students build strong piano skills and musical confidence.
I believe that music education should feel supportive and inspiring. My teaching style focuses on clear explanations, patient guidance, and steady improvement. Each student learns differently, so I adjust lessons according to their pace and musical interests. Some learners focus on classical music, while others enjoy modern songs.
Outside teaching, I continue practicing piano and studying different musical works. These experiences allow me to bring fresh ideas into my lessons. Teaching piano is rewarding because I see students grow more confident and expressive through music.

My piano lessons are designed to help students develop musical skills step by step while enjoying the learning process. Beginners begin with understanding hand position, finger movement, and basic music notation. Through simple exercises and short melodies, students learn how rhythm and pitch work together in music. I guide learners carefully so they become comfortable using both hands while maintaining steady timing.
As students gain experience, lessons include scales, chord patterns, and longer musical pieces. These exercises strengthen finger coordination and improve musical understanding. Students also learn how to express feeling through dynamics and phrasing. Practice techniques are introduced to help learners continue improving between lessons.
My goal is to help students appreciate music while building discipline and creativity. Lessons encourage careful listening and steady practice. Over time students gain the confidence to perform music clearly and expressively. Piano becomes both a meaningful musical skill and an enjoyable form of artistic expression.
