About Antonia
Hi, My name is Antonia. I am 29 years old currently teaching English and swahili with 5 years teaching experience. I'm a graduate from Mount Kenya University with a Bachelors Degree in English and Literature. I strive to excel in all challenging areas and equipped with ability to handle tasks with less fatigue and much flexibility. I am academically organised, methodological, self driven and dedicated inorder to reach set goals. I strongly believe in discipline, order, lifelong learning and differentiated Education.

I have 5 years teaching experience and I have been teaching swahili to secondary school students. I believe that demonstrating and collaboration are the most effective teaching methods at Secondary School. The side benefit is development of communication skills and teamwork. However I have experience with all main teaching methods including demonstration, learning by teaching as well as some unorthodox methods for example learning by playing. When I prepare my lesson plans,I always think carefully about that and try to apply the most suitable methods in each lesson. I always try to apply various methods and observe the reaction of students measuring both their progress and interest.
