About Amar
Amar Tirkey is a guitarist based in New Delhi. He has been studying music for about 13 years and is an active musician in the Delhi scene as a part of multiple groups. He is also a part of the in-house Piano Man band. His interests lie in improvisation and using music as a language. He is a graduate of Swarnabhoomi Academy of Music where he was fortunate to learn from world-renowned faculty like Greg Diamond (New York), Sid Jacobs (L.A), Mili Vizcaino (Spain), Pablo Lapidusas (Argentina), to name a few.

Depending on the level, and interests of the students musically, I will help them build a strong foundation on the knowledge they already possess. We will work on Harmony, Ear training, building vocabulary, repertoire , fretboard knowledge, transcriptions and it's applications in your own playing.
