I met Nabin in 2015 while performing together and began weekly lessons with him in 2018. I have known Nabin Shrestha since 2012. At that time I was introduced to him by maestro sitar player Roshan Jamal Bhartiya during a practice/learning session in Boulder Colorado. It was this occasion, as well as other events, that I truly witnessed the profound talent and magnitude of knowledge that Nabin possess on this very unique instrument - the tabla. I have been a student of his from that point on, and I will also find it a great joy to move forward in this musical voyage - though very humbling at times. Nabin is a very thorough teacher. He always make corrections in my playing/practicing even at times when these corrections don't seem obvious to my own ears.
