About Amir
I have been fortunate to have had some of the best tutors and teachers throughout my education from high school all the way to my graduate degree. I have always paid attention to what made a great learning experience for me and tried to apply that to my own teaching methods.
Looking back at my education, I realize that I have loved and hated certain topics not because of their content, but because of how the content was delivered. I am excited to share what I have learnt throughout the years with others to make their life easier, as I am grateful to those who did the same for me.

The most important thing for me is to have the student develop a solid understanding of the basics before jumping on to advanced topics. I believe in spending more time on getting the fundamentals right and developing the essential toolkit first!
I have experienced success with piquing students' interest in topics and motivating them to cultivate self-learning skills. These skills prove particularly beneficial during advanced topics where having the student drive the learning experience is critical. I am fortunate to have years of engineering experience in various fields to draw on for explaining the practical applications of seemingly dull topics , bringing students one step closer to appreciating the "why" of the lessons.
I can cover topics in math and sciences at high school and university levels . My lessons are structured based on continuous improvement and I adapt them to each student's learning skills while helping them acquire effective learning habits.
