About Alexi
I have been a professional musician for the last 12 years, playing guitar, piano, and singing. In addition to musical experience, I have also been teaching private lessons for the last 15 years and have worked in a variety of musical settings, including independent schools, charter schools, and after school programs. I am also currently getting my Master's in Education.

My goal as your music teacher is to get you excited about making music and give you the tools to feel like you can express yourself on an instrument with freedom and creativity. I tailor my teaching style to the needs and goals of the student and use a practical approach to get you to play your favorite songs as quickly as possible, while still gaining the knowledge and technique to master the instrument.
