About Dashiell
I am a dedicated Piano tutor with over 9 years of experience teaching school students, college learners, and working professionals. Throughout my career, I have focused on helping students build strong piano skills while enjoying the learning process.
My teaching philosophy emphasises strong basics, clear understanding, and regular practice. I ensure students learn correct technique from the start to avoid future difficulties. I explain lessons in simple English and encourage students to ask questions, creating a comfortable learning environment.
Each lesson is planned according to the student’s learning style and goals. Whether a student wants to play classical pieces, modern songs, or learn piano for relaxation, I tailor my approach to suit their needs. I also guide students on effective home practice to help them progress faster.
Over the years, many of my students have gained confidence to perform in public and achieve their musical goals. Helping students grow musically and personally through piano education is my biggest achievement and source of satisfaction.

My teaching methodology is based on compassion, communication, and supportiveness. I believe that learning is most effective when students feel understood, valued, and encouraged. In piano lessons, I take the time to learn each student’s goals, strengths, and challenges, and I design lessons that suit their unique needs.
I focus on both technical skills and creative expression, breaking down complex concepts into simple, easy-to-follow steps. I encourage students to ask questions, explore music creatively, and practise with confidence.
Communication is key in my teaching—I provide constructive feedback, celebrate achievements, and guide students patiently through difficulties. Beyond piano, I teach other relevant subjects using the same supportive and flexible approach.
My goal is not just to teach skills but to inspire curiosity, build self-confidence, and develop a lifelong love for learning and music. Every lesson is a step towards mastery, personal growth, and enjoyment.
