About Nikola
I was born in Latvia and moved to the UK when I was 3 years old. I was taught English very quickly but my mother struggled to keep up. Every day I watched as she struggled to communicate what she needed in shops or at the doctor’s office. Eventually, I began teaching her, and slowly but surely she made amazing progress. She is now a project manager for large universities nationwide.

I aim to focus on pronunciation and basic speaking skills for non-native speakers. I can also provide help with exam preparations including: reading material, writing skills, and improving skills in studying pieces of literature. I have a more carefree approach to learning as I understand that many people find learning the expected way challenging, I like to take different approaches and ensure everyone is on the same page.
