About Tracy

I have been a special education teacher for 20+ years, where I taught all subjects in a self-contained classroom. I am currently an Accommodations Coordinator at a university where I evaluate and assist students with academic accommodations at the college level.

About the lesson

I meet students where they are, while building off of the skills they already have. I have experience working with middle and high school age students, although they were several years below grade level. I am very flexible, and will change a lesson plan if I see that it is not working for the student.

I had the privilege of working in Tracy's classroom as their teaching assistant. Tracy is an advocate for their students and fosters a safe and inclusive environment. Tracy respects individual needs and tailors how they teach to the need of the student. The many students that Tracy taught over the years speak highly of them and value them for the time they spent encouraging their growth both as students and individuals. Tracy has excellent communication skills which assist them in fostering professional relationships. Tracy has a passion for helping others and it shows in their work.
