About Dorian
I am a dedicated and passionate guitar tutor with over 12 years of experience teaching students of all levels, from beginners to advanced musicians. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of teaching 150-200 students, each with unique learning styles and goals. My approach is centered around personalized learning, ensuring that every student receives tailored lessons that align with their individual needs and musical aspirations. Whether focusing on classical, jazz, electric, bass, or acoustic guitar, I aim to build a strong foundation in technique while fostering creativity and expression. I specialize in problem-solving and motivation, guiding students through challenges while keeping them inspired and engaged. My goal is not only to teach guitar but also to instill a lifelong passion for music in every student. I adapt my teaching to the individual learning style of each student, ensuring a tailored experience—whether through visual aids, hands-on practice, or auditory exercises.
In addition to guitar, I offer comprehensive lessons in related subjects like music theory, ear training, and music history, enhancing students’ overall understanding of music. I also teach English and French, using similar adaptive methods. In language lessons, I focus on speaking, writing, vocabulary, and pronunciation. Each lesson is designed to be engaging, interactive, and practical, ensuring that students not only grasp the concepts but feel confident applying them in real-world situations. My goal is to make learning enjoyable and effective for every student.
