About Akhill
I'm a backend and full-stack software engineer with over 7 years of professional experience, having worked with organizations like Deloitte, Optum, GlobalLogic, and most recently as a Senior Consultant embedded with Emirates NBD, one of the largest banks in the Middle East, where I helped build real-time, instant payment systems used by millions of transactions. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Guru Nanak Dev University.
This isn't theoretical knowledge I'm passing along — it's hands-on expertise from building and maintaining production systems where mistakes have real financial consequences. When I teach you Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, Node.js, or system design, I'm teaching you the same standards and practices I've been held to as a professional engineer.

First 10 min: Quick review — what did we cover last time, what's still fuzzy, any blockers you hit while practicing.
Core session (30–40 min): We work through a concept via a real-world build — e.g., setting up a Kafka producer/consumer, writing a NestJS auth flow with JWT + refresh tokens, or designing a microservice boundary. You write code, I review it live and explain the "why" behind every correction.
Last 10–15 min: A targeted challenge question or mini system-design prompt to test whether the concept transferred, plus a short homework task before the next session.
