I teach basic American Sign Language and help to ASL students and I also offer mentoring. I can also help you learn music in sign language and prayers.

About TANYA
I attended Columbia College Chicago where I majored in American Sign Language-English Interpretation and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in 2007. I worked as an educational interpreter for the public school system for over 10 years and now that I am in a different field professionally working in Human Services/Crisis work; I now volunteer my interpreting services for the church, funerals, weddings, and milestone events. I have taught over 100 students basic sign language and many have gone on to continue their studies in ASL.

Perfect!
- Corey has established signing skills already. He could benefit from classes in linguistics, morphology and semantics to further understand how ASL is broken down. Over the three weeks we worked together I did see a huge improvement in both his signing cohesiveness as well as his receptive skills.
