About Akanbi
I am a very jovial person that believes that mathematics is fun and interesting. I always find a way to apply any maths content to real life situation because the students learn faster with practical and theoretical. Algebra arouses students' interest in mathematics when it is shown to them that simple parabolic equation can lead to a construction of bridges and lots more examples.
I easily take corrections from my students as I believe no one knows it all and do not give wrong answers to questions I am not certain about until I have made my research well.
Aside all the fun in my class, as a professional, I do not lost focus on the lessons' goals and objectives that must be achieved.

My first class is basically introduction where I get to find one or two strengths and weaknesses from my student. After I achieved that, I take advantage of the strengths and makes it overshadow the weaknesses while I work on it. I am always patient and welcome new teaching strategies depending on the students.
I teach for about 90 minutes, more or less depending on the pupil's ability to retain. I have helped a lot of students as a private tutor and general edu-consultant. The least I have recorded so far from my students' WAEC result is C6 and that was once, others are B4 and above while the least score in JAMB is 62. I teach students regardless the age but mainly from JSS1 to SS3 (JAMB LEVEL).
