About Matthew
School can be stressful, but my patient, calming demeanor sets students at ease. I am also known to be punctual, and more than willing to explain things in such a way that the student can understand the material. I think a good tutor should meet the student "halfway" and figure an approach that works best for them.

I strive to explain grammar in terms the student understands, while giving them actual examples from everyday English usage. I am always patient with my students, even when they do not immediately understand the lesson. I primarily teach college students and high school students.
