About Rafaela
Hi! My name is Rafaela
I have just finished my A-Levels and am now moving on to university.
I am keen to be a part of a student's 'light-bulb moment'- the moment where all the concepts one has learnt come together and starts making sense. I, myself, hit a point where I didn't like to study, however, I met a teacher who listened to me and helped me come up with a way to learn that worked best for me, which included simplifying concepts, this drastically changed my perspective on learning and studying and saw my grades increase immensely. Now I hope to be that inspiration for someone else.

Lessons vary on the way each student learns best. Therefore, the first session involves a friendly introduction and getting to know the personality of your child and finding out areas they struggle in. I believe that in order to make progress the child must be involved in their own learning and so we will work together to come up with a plan that is best suited for their needs. Parents/Guardians are strongly encouraged to take an active role and hence each session will end in a feedback chat with all.
A typical lesson lasts roughly 45- 60 minutes.
I have recently completed my A-Levels and am now moving on to university. I have always had a passion for teaching and was regularly chosen to mentor my peers which influenced me to seek employment experience at a tutoring centre. I was a tutor at Explore Learning and have experience tutoring children from ages 3-15.
My lessons are aimed towards students in Year 1 to Year 8
