I use a student centred approach in teaching ESOL. I complete a initial assessment with each student, focusing on their learning aims, assessing current skill level and learning preferences and styles. I use varied methodologies from text based and conversational through to situational and traditional lesson plans. I use multimedia and real life texts in order to teach practical skills that can be applied for personal and workplace use of English. I can teach Business English and prepare students for Cambridge and IELT English exams and assessments.
