About Elizabeth

I am a dedicated Teach For America instructor with strong experience supporting K–6 learners in both small-group and one-on-one settings. I take my work with young students very seriously, and I bring patience, warmth, and professionalism to every session. My background in elementary instruction has taught me how to meet learners exactly where they are and help them grow with confidence. Families appreciate my reliability, clear communication, and the calm, encouraging environment I create for every student. About the lesson

As a Teach For America instructor, my approach centers on creating a calm, safe learning environment where K–6 learners feel confident enough to take risks and ask questions freely. I tailor each lesson to your child’s needs, beginning with a quick check of their understanding and building from there using clear, step-by-step explanations. My lessons focus on strengthening foundational math skills, improving number sense, and developing early problem-solving strategies. What makes my sessions unique is the emphasis on confidence-building. I help young learners recognize their strengths and celebrate progress along the way.
