About Naomi
A free trial session is available to assess your starting level before we commit to a schedule. My lessons are enjoyable because 13 years of experience helps me simplify the fretboard for any learner. I draw on my classical training from the UBC School of Music to ensure your technical base is solid.

Blue guitar strings hum when I teach the basics of lead and blues progressions. I bring a Bachelor of Music degree from UBC to every session I hold. Having taught 388 students, I understand the needs of working professionals and teens alike. My 13 years of performing folk and classical music across Canada inform my methods.
I emphasize reading tabs and songwriting for those aiming to create their own works. My approach remains consistent for grade exam candidates and absolute beginners. I enjoy helping people grasp complex concepts through clear steps. You can expect a relaxed environment while we work on your skills.
