About Ratul
I hold a B.A. in History (Hons.) with a minor in Physics and interdisciplinary studies in Media and Communication from Azim Premji University, Bangalore, along with a postgraduate diploma in Research and Innovation from O.P. Jindal Global University. I am currently preparing for master’s entrance examinations. Studying in a liberal, interdisciplinary environment has shaped my teaching style, allowing me to connect ideas across subjects rather than treating them as isolated units.
As a passionate theatre person, interactions with my students always feel free-flowing and constructive. I do not believe in a hierarchical structure of a classroom and tend to treat the students as my peers, often acting not as a 'teacher' or 'professor', but more as an instructor.

Learning, to me, is not about memorising answers or rushing through the syllabus, but about understanding ideas in a way that feels clear, engaging, and lasting. I teach maths, physics, chemistry, history, English, and Hindi, specialising in all these subjects till grade 12. With over one and a half years of teaching experience, I have worked with students of different boards and learning levels, including those who feel anxious about studies or believe certain subjects are beyond them. My aim is to change that perception by making concepts approachable and meaningful.
I believe that learning can only happen in a safe, judgement-free space. My classes focus on discussion, explanation, and conceptual clarity rather than rote learning. My strong background in theatre helps me communicate clearly, engage students with ease, and adapt my teaching to individual needs. My goal is not just academic improvement but building confidence, curiosity, and a genuine interest in learning.
