About Sarah
My name is Sarah Krueger, and I'm 18. I do - and this may seem odd to say - love maths. I truly find joy in understanding math topics by seeing logic behind them, and seeing questions through, as there's a certain satisfaction of getting questions right.
Maths has always been my favourite subject, in secondary school and college, despite wanting to pursue a career in science. I think that with these tutoring sessions, I can create a set understanding of all topics, and create confidence for any tests or exams coming up. I hope to spark the same passion for maths that I have.
As I have just completed my A-levels, and did my GCSE's 2 years ago, I believe we could create a comfortable environment to enjoy building up knowledge and confidence in Maths to help you achieve whatever it is you are aiming for, without it seeming like a teacher is lecturing you!

I think it's always crucial to understand exactly what's happening in a topic, and what the aim of typical questions are for that topic. So once the understanding is there, we move on to simple questions for that topic and move to exam questions to work on technique. My lessons are for GCSE students, so tend to be 14-16 however I do not mind any age. I like to focus on teaching the logic behind maths questions, so that any variations of them seem approachable. A typical lesson would be 30-45 minutes, stretching to an hour if the student can focus for a longer period of time. At GCSE, I got a 9 in both Maths and Further Maths, and have just completed my A-level Maths and Further Maths courses, with predicted A* and A respectively. As for my experience, I spent a year tutoring German, and have tutored two Maths students for their GCSE's as well as a year 4.
