About Katie
I am currently undertaking my master's in Law in the hopes of becoming a solicitor. However, I thoroughly enjoyed my degree in Sociology and Anthropology, as well as my A-Level in Psychology. I want to teach because I want other people to love their subjects as much as I do. These subjects are invaluable for gaining a deeper understanding of ourselves and the world, and can serve as a great starting point for any career.

I believe that to master a topic truly, you must understand it at its core. I love discussing and going outside the curriculum to help my students grasp the wider concepts, bringing in real-life situations and news stories to make the topics more relatable to them. My lessons are an hour long and designed for GCSE and A-Level students. I hold a first-class degree in Sociology and Anthropology from the University of Durham. I achieved A* in Sociology and Psychology A-Level. I have experience working as a social researcher in the Department of Health and Social Care, Civil Service and recently completed a 7-week social research internship at Oxford University.
