About Rachel
I am a teacher candidate entering my final year of my teaching degree! I have loved learning for most of my life, but in my early years I struggled with reading, writing, as well as with ADHD. School was a challenge for me, but my grade 2 teacher showed me how meaningful learning can be if we allow it. She didn’t judge me for what I found hard, but met me where I was and empowered me in my learning. This changed my mindset and the trajectory of my life. It is my goal to create a similar difference in students.
