About Akhona
I chose teaching because I believe education has the power to change lives. I am interested in teaching because I enjoy sharing knowledge, supporting learners when they face challenges, and seeing the excitement that comes when a learner finally understands something they once found difficult.
As your teacher, I want our classroom to be a safe, respectful, and enjoyable place where everyone feels comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and learning from one another. I will encourage you to believe in yourself, think creatively, and never be afraid to try.
