About Raiane Evelyn
Hi, there! My name's Evelyn, I’ve been teaching for 8 years now and it'd be a pleasure to help you out, too. I’m very passionate about knowledge and sharing it with my students. I understand that for it to be effective, we should personalise the way we teach according to each student’s need! I am and have been a student as well, so I should know how important it is for the teacher to be flexible during learning process. I do not believe students are blank slates, so each one of us have our own personal demands, limitations and potential, and a good teacher should know how to best work with those. Also, I’m very enthusiastic and motivating during our lessons, ‘cause there is no way we can learn in a dull, uninteresting classroom environment, right? Let's do this together, then!

Nice to meet you! I'm here to help you guys and I'm open to teaching all ages and levels. I'm a Biology teacher graduate from Universidade Federal Fluminense, Brazil, with experience teaching at schools. In 2019, I've graduated as a Biologist and in February 2022 I've specialised in Biology teaching. At the moment, I work as an online biology teacher resident at Aurelino Leal School, in Brazil. At the end of 2021, I've taken part at two educational workshops at SkyEng. I've also taken the Psychology of Education course at IFRS college in 2020. Furthermore, I've helped organise an extension programme of Diversity and Inclusion for universities in 2016, at Universidade Federal Fluminense. In 2015, I've taken part at an extension programme named Sciences Under Tents, which works with public schools and aims at science education for kids and teenagers through games and fun activities. Language skills: Portuguese (C2), English (C1), German (B1), Spanish (B2), Italian (A1), Russian (A1).
