About Audrey
I hold a Ph.D in Spanish from the University of Kansas. I have had 25 years of experience teaching, tutoring, advising and mentoring at the university level. I am prepared to tutor younger students also, such as middle school and high school. I truly care about my students and will do everything possible to ensure a positive learning experience and success.

I begin each lesson plan with a review of previously covered material, then present new material with some sort of visual aid such as a power point presentation. This presentation will present material in a colorful, clear and concise manner, and will usually include some practice exercises. From then we will progress to a communicative approach, which calls for active student participation in their own learning process, and allows them to use the language in a creative way. I teach Spanish grammar, culture, readings, speaking and listening comprehension. Each lesson will include practice with the four basic skills: reading, writing, speaking and listening comprehension. I genuinely care about my students and want them to succeed as much as they do.
