About Asa
My motto is "help me, help you." My point of view is "Brains are like snowflakes - no two are alike." I treat everyone equally, and I never give up on the student. The student is also the teacher, as I find out what techniques have worked for them and which haven't; if nothing has worked, I find the right technique. I like to know as much about the student as possible, as well as have access to as many materials as possible. I never give up, and I won't allow the student to give up.

My motto is "help me, help you." I ask what methods have work and which haven't worked. I find out what makes the student tick, and I try to get information from concerned 3rd parties (e.g. parent, teacher, etc.). "Brains are like snowflakes - no two are alike." There is no one way to teach someone. The students also teach me. As long as I am given all class materials (e.g. handouts, books, etc.), I can teach pretty much anything. I have taught all levels of math.
